Rwanda and Belgium restore diplomatic relations
Kigali and Brussels announced the restoration of their diplomatic relations, broken by Rwanda in March 2025 due to the conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo, with Kigali then accusing Belgium of taking Kinshasa's side.
