Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the security zone that Israel has occupied in Syria since 2024, on the Syrian slope of Mount Hermon, claiming that the Islamic Republic of Iran was on the verge of collapse. Syria denounced an "illegal" entry and a violation of its sovereignty.
